Based in Sri Lanka with an intimate knowledge of the island, its people, culture and architecture, Dominic Sansoni likes travelling with no agenda. He has worked as a professional photographer since 1980. He has published several books, Lunuganga, Sri Lanka -Resplendent Isle, Colour, Sri Lanka Style, Bawa -The Sri Lanka gardens, Thailand - Nine days in the Kingdom and the most recent, The Architectural Heritage of Sri Lanka ~ Measured Drawings by the Anjalendran Studio 2015. Recent personal projects have been the documentation of the vernacular architecture of South India, and a study of ‘Sacred Space’ in Sri Lanka. He is always fascinated by how people live; their private space and sense of style within a home.
